Hello!

Welcome to my corner of the internet. My name is Tashanna, and I'm the baker behind Liquid Dough, a traveling micro-bakery based in New London, CT this summer! I chose the name Liquid Dough because many of my batters and doughs can be quite loose after adding my prebiotic sourdough starter to the mix. The name kind of chose itself! I'm dedicated to crafting gut-friendly breads and homemade cookies that not only taste incredible, but also support your digestive health.
My own journey into baking started with digestive issues that sent me looking for answers beyond what was available at the store. The more I researched, the more I realized how much of what we eat every day is processed far past the point of being recognizable to the eye. The gut definitely knows the crap it comes in contact with, and mine felt so much better after I started experimenting with a starter culture. I don't use enough to change the flavor, but enough to get those probiotic and prebiotic benefits. Baking became less of a hobby and more of a way to take care of myself, one loaf at a time. Getting to share these baked goods with others is so much fun, and I make sure to use the finest quality ingredients, focusing on nourishing your body with every bite.
My specialty breads are made with prebiotics and probiotics, including sourdough, garlic, bananas, and sometimes whole grains. Paired with my signature homemade cookies, you'll find a sweet balance of flavor and wellness.
